Bosch, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Dalí and Dutch Design – a visit to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is a journey through the history of art. Dutch and international masterpieces present an overview from the early Middle Ages to the twenty-first century. The museum has one of the largest collections of Surrealist works in the world and an unusual Pop Art collection with pieces by Warhol, Lichtenstein and many others. In the Maritiem Museum, you can discover the enormous effect that the maritime world has on our daily lives. Kunsthal Rotterdam

An icon of modern architecture, Kunsthal Rotterdam is loved by tourists and locals alike. The building was designed by Rem Koolhaas and Fuminori Hoshino and boasts over 3300 m2 of exhibition space.

Museum Rotterdam

Museum Rotterdam Museum Rotterdam is all about the city and its residents and shows Rotterdam as it was and what it will become. Since 2016 the museum has been located in the Timmerhuis: a spectacular transparent cloud of glass, just behind the city hall, designed by Rem Koolhaas.

The museum collects and displays photography that reflects on the world around us, and ensures that the photographic heritage of both the present and the future is preserved. The Nederlands Fotomuseum is the central place for Dutch photography, both past and present. The museum protects the photographic heritage of the Netherlands and places it within a contemporary context.
