Iris van Herpen – Sculpting the senses

Starting this fall, Kunsthal Rotterdam will be entirely devoted to Iris van Herpen, one of the most avant-garde Dutch fashion designers. The exhibition Sculpting the Senses offers a compelling overview of more than a hundred iconic creations in which fashion, art, design, and science come together.

Van Herpen breaks through fashion conventions with innovative techniques and combines this with traditional haute couture craftsmanship.

The Family of Migrants

‘The Family of Migrants’ brings together work from 136 photographers worldwide, featuring both well-known and lesser-known images that show migration as a timeless and human story.

From Gurdit Singh’s journey in 1914, who was denied entry to Canada, to Volodymyr’s farewell in 2022 at the Lviv train station, the photos illustrate the ongoing impact of migration throughout time.
