Pearl Charles brings adventurous avant-garde pop with soul and disco influences, steeped in nostalgic images of her hometown Los Angeles. After starting out in folk and garage rock, she developed into a unique mix of seventies disco-country and eighties yacht rock, with her latest album *Desert Queen* due out this summer.

Blackbird combines raw vintage guitars and cinematic western strings with a powerful voice reminiscent of Nancy Sinatra. Her infectious mix of Americana and country pop makes for an energetic show full of sing-along moments and dance fun.
