From June 12 to 15, 2025, Poetry International, in collaboration with the Dutch Poet Laureate Babs Gons, will organize the first Poetry Summit. This anniversary festival celebrates 55 years of existence and brings together renowned, award-winning poets from around the world.

The participants will represent their countries and take part in readings, discussions, workshops, interviews, debates, and performances. From intimate recitals to large-scale performances, expect surprises around every corner. They bring together some of the most honored voices in poetry—names you will want to remember, faces you will never forget. An important part of the festival is the presentation of the “Declaration for Future Generations of Poets,” which underscores the importance of poetry and secures its future.
