Het Eigendom

In the heart of the city centre on Witte de Withstraat sits wine bar Het Eigendom. Here, they have no fewer than 135 wines on the menu. With the motto ’Wine is bottled poetry’, at Het Eigendom you will be challenged to set your taste buds on edge.

You can eat well there too. Refined shared dining dishes, with accompanying wines, of course. The bar is in a historic building from the 1940s, with high windows inside and a spacious bar.

Wijnbar L’ouest

At this atmospheric wine bar with a small restaurant, you can enjoy refined food and delicious wines! L’ouest offers Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by wines from all over the world.

It is a combination restaurant and wine bar, with around 40 different wines on the menu. The selection includes classic wines as well as natural wines from lesser-known wine countries, such as Armenia and Azerbaijan. In addition, L’Ouest has a separate wine shop, called Le Nord, where the wines from the bar are for sale.

Wijnbar Walsjérôt

At wine bar Walsjérôt, things are just a little bit different from other establishments: here, you tap your own wine. Here, you can choose to go for just one sip, half a glass or a full glass.

The selection is diverse; from fresh sauvignon blanc from South Africa to fat chardonnay from Meursault and from classic red wine from Margaux to funky natural wine. There are some 70 different wines to choose from.

Charlie’s Wijnbar

On the Veerhaven, in the Maritime Quarter sits Charlie’s wine bar. The bar has the ambiance of a French bistro and you drink exclusive wines and have hand-roasted coffee with some goodies.

Around 40 different wines are served here, ranging between exclusive wines such as Domaine Deux Roches and affordable five-euro wines.

Wijnbar de Avonden

In a relaxed living room atmosphere, enjoy fine wines and tasty snacks, as well as music and other fun activities. The menu offers a wide range of wines. They serve entry-level wines to wines for connoisseurs.

The wines come from all corners of Europe, but the focus is mainly on French bistro wines. They also have large drinks boards, a monthly changing 3-course menu and the bistro serves rotisserie chicken every Wednesday.

Wijnbar Janssen en Van Dijk

In the centre of Rotterdam, you will find wine bar Janssen en Van Dijk. Here you can enjoy delicious wines and snacks on the terrace. It has the looks of a brown café and it serves striking wines.

These are imported from a wine shop in Flanders, among others, but also from Dutch soil. You can also dine under the beautiful chandeliers, large high windows, French chairs and dark wooden bar.
